BIO:  Hello friends!  I am a science teacher at Lancaster High School.  I graduated from Harvard University with an MS in Biotechnology: Life Sciences.   I was raised in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster HS.  It has always been my dream to return to my hometown and share the knowledge I have gained during my time away.  I joined the district in 2021 and I absolutely love my job!  My students motivate me every day to keep learning and growing.  I love working with high school-age students and challenging them to be the best they can be.  I hope to inspire my students to gain an appreciation for the arts and sciences .  I love Lancaster CSD because we are one big family.  All of the teachers made me feel at home from my very first day on the job.  The administrators push staff to be the best they can be.  My favorite motto is Carpe Diem - Seize the day!  

I am married with 2 children, ages 1 and 2.  I hope to have a very large family, like the one I grew up in - I have 3 sisters and 4 brothers!  My hobby is horseback riding, but sometimes it's hard to find the time with two young children.  My goal is to create a YouTube channel that focuses on science experiments for kids.  I love animals and have 2 dogs (Barney & Fifi) and 1 cat (Tom).  All of my animals were adopted from the spca.  I hope someday to purchase land to build an animal sanctuary.
