Lancaster Central School District is being recognized for their implementation of the new Centricity 2, Mobile Web App and the innovative way in which they are promoting it.  Pat Burgio (Director of Communications) and Heidi Chaves (Technology Curriculum Mentor) have worked diligently to build the Mobile Web App for their high school. The new app was announced with an eye catching flyer that promoted the new tool and a fun new tagline, "Lancaster has gotten SMART"!  

The Centricity 2, Mobile Web App provides a mobile friendly view of the key areas within a website.  It's a fast and easy way to give smartphone users immediate access to your site without having to download an app to their device.  The buttons and colors of the template can also be customized with a variety of built-in options.  Lancaster requested some additional customization which includes an image of the high school building displaying in the background.  This site was the first to "go live" in a planned series of roll-outs, with the remaining schools scheduled to launch in the near future.
