Akron Central School District is using the Centricity 2, Forms & Surveys tool in a unique way that has increased efficiency. The district webmaster created an electronic form that is currently being used to track staff attendance and assign substitute teachers. Before this new procedure was implemented, the information was tracked with a manual process. Each morning the attendance clerk listened to a series of voice mail messages, recorded the information on paper, and entered the data into a computer program. Since the implementation, the new electronic form is now an integral part of the attendance clerks morning activities.
