The Lockport City School District has come up with an innovative new use of the Schoolwires Centricity, Forms & Surveys tool!  Patty Quast (District Webmaster) created the first electronic ticket order form for the school production of "The Phantom of the Opera".  Initially, 36 on-line ticket orders were collected, and the district was very interested in seeing this number grow!

 

They decided that the best way to promote the new online ticket order form was to utilize another great Centricity tool, Broadcast Alerts.  Using this tool, an email/SMS alert was sent out to all district website subscribers, promoting the event and the option to order tickets via the electronic form.  The district collected 101 on-line orders for the school's production of "Ragtime", which was a huge success!

 

Not only does the electronic form simplify the process of collecting ticket orders for the district, but for the end user as well.  The form is designed with an attractive customized layout and includes a link to a seating chart for the show.
